Soaked Oats

(can be prepared night before or in the morning)


The base ingredients for this breakfast are: oats, seeds, cinnamon and fresh fruit with a liquid. The other ingredients are choices. Dried fruit adds sweetness.


(Serves 1)

1 cup of oats per person

1-2 tbsp. of mixed ground seeds (include flaxseeds)

1 tsp. of cinnamon

2-4 chopped almonds (optional)

2-4 chopped walnuts (optional)

1-2 pieces of fruit of choice – berries, apples, pears, or plums are good low sugar choices

2 dried apricots or small handful of raisins (optional)

20g of protein powder – hemp, whey, pea, rice (optional)

2 cups of dairy or non-dairy milk or plain natural unsweetened yoghurt or kefir

1 tsp. raw cacao (optional)

1 tsp. bee pollen (optional)

1 tsp. baobab powder (optional)

Mix all together and either keep in fridge overnight or make in the morning


Sit at a table, relax and enjoy!
